Love Like Crazy

Wayne and Jo Gilbreath met the day she was born. He lived across the street and was mad because his momma was not home to make his dinner because she was busy across the street helping to deliver Jo. Their families were inseparable growing up. She played with his sisters and never imagined that when he returned from the marines she would become Mrs. Wayne Gilbreath. They spent the next 6 decades building a life together. This is homage to that life.

A note from the creator: I was inspired to create this after my grandfather began to spiral health wise. My grandmother Jo has to watch a stranger staring back at her every day because of Poppy's Alzheimer's. I wanted to show her the happier times. This project was created using old family albums and music that I grew up listening to in my house. The music ranges from my favorites to artists that my grandmother has loved for decades. Instead of using vocal narration of my own I let text and song lyrics speak for me. The point was to show what 63 years of life together looks like and the lessons you teach to your family along the way.
